Der Fotopreis der VGH Versicherungen ist mit 10.000 Euro bundesweit eine der höchstdotierten Auszeichnungen im Bereich Fotografie. Seit 2008 wird er ausschließlich unter den Studierenden des Studiengangs „Fotojournalismus und Dokumentarfotografie“ der Hochschule Hannover (HsH) vergeben. The automotive supplier Buderus Guss produces around 15 million passenger car brake disc a year at its site in Breidenbach (Germany). In the production process, the European market leader uses both scrap metal from industry and recycled material from its own production – users receive a safety-relevant and sustainably produced part. Automated quality assurance is done with a production integrated ScanBox Series 4. The compact system enables the inspection of up to 190 brake discs daily. If deviations occur, the generated measurement data is transferred to production in real time to adjust process parameters if necessary.
